Co-worker brought her boy to work and while there asked me to snap some shots.

Always willing to try new things, I took about 20 shots and a few of them came out pretty good (the mother was happy, and that is what counts, right?)

This one, the mother's foot and the office chair were messing up the background so I did a bit of PP work.

These are just cropped and adjusted for the flourescent light. The lighting is terrible, but it was in an office cublical with one-camera flash.

Very nice stuff. I do like the extreme close ups. Cute child, and I love the background.

Thanks guys. The mother has been showing them around and I have already had a few nibbles and one bonafide offer for paying work.

Who knew that rugrats could make you money without selling them? (Just kidding!)

I agree with Titus213, the close ups are good for baby pics. I've seen so many that have a baby filling about 10% of the image. What does the kid actually LOOK like!! So a nice closeup really does the job.

I like to try to leave a little space around the sides so that if it gets framed, you won't be cropping the image with overlap from the frame. That's what I try to do. Kids move to darn much to have much of a plan.

He posed really well. I think you caught some great looks. Good job!

great pictures, beautiful kid!!!!!!!!!

I prefer to use lighter backgrounds with kids, darker bg a little sipressing (but this is me personal opinion)

these are great! my only comment would be on the 1st photo. You blurred the distracting background, but accidentally blurred out the best part of him . . . HIS HAIR STICKING UP http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif
