I realy need to get a CPL for the window reflections...but I'm intrested in killin the reflection of the shiny bodywork...so as i read about CPL i found out that u can only kill the reflections off of non-metal objects...is that realy true? is there no help for the metal reflections?
because i also read that it can kill the reflections off of the body because their not reflecting off of the metal but of the paint...
I'd like to hear about the people that used it...what is your experince using it...

Occasionally I take a CP with me. Usually I'll look at the car, rotate the filter, & then put it back in my pocket. For me, it's better to MOVE MY FEET! (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=536323), than to use a CP because I want reflections to define the contour of the car & I find that when I remove the bad reflections, & also lose some of the good ones. Polarizers usually make the late model headlight plastic covers show a "rainbow", and make...
Lovely multi-colored windshields (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showpost.php?p=7339027&postcount=1)
The best thing I can suggest is to buy or borrow one & see what you personally think.

Sometimes it is better not to more your feet and just use a filter...
If you want to compose a car in a certain way, you don't want to move your feet as you don't have the composition then..!
Light is on several planes, so what a polariser does is to cut out certain planes of light, so if the reflection is all on the same plane of light you can cut it out..

A CPL is a staple in my bag, and I can always find a place to carry it with me. In addition to the reflections, it does some color enhancements that you can only otherwise accomplish in post processing...blues are bluer, clouds have definition and clarity, reds are rich... try one and see for yourself.
