Green Day SECC Glasgow 19th Oct (from very, very far away)

Back in May, my attempts to get standing tix for the show proved fruitless, and in the end I had to settle for the seated area at the rear of the 6000 strong pit.

Green Day obviously believe in giving value for money as they played a two and a half hour set that never flagged. They was a lot of audience participation and a number of unrehearsed comic moments and I doubt that anyone leaving the venue that evening didn't have a good time.

The pics were taken on my ancient Panasonic Lumix FZ7. Yes, the band are dots in the distance. Yes, the pics are noisy and probably oversharpened. I'm posting for fun and really don't care. I'm just happy to have a record of a very special evening.

Thanks guys, I was surprised there was even anything worth keeping. Although we were in the seating area, we had to stand for the entire set as pretty much everyone stood up when the band took to the stage. There was a tall girl in front of me and it was difficult for me (being short) to avoid getting her hair in the shots.
