anyone check into this yet?

Canon USA (http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&fcategoryid=139&modelid=19584#ModelFeaturesAct)

I've been a 1D user for the last two generations. I have been looking to jump into video and this looks like the right body to do it with. EOS HD movie with manual exposure control and multiple frame rates (1080: 30p (29.97) / 24p (23.976) / 25p, 720: 60p (59.94) / 50p, 480: 60p (59.94) / 50p)

The only thing that could make this better is a 35mm sensor. I myself am doing a student project with a group for a University-level film production final assignment. While the norm for most students is using Super 8, we're opting to go with the EOS HD platform, mainly since I already have a decent lens kit film wise (50mm prime, wide angle, and telephoto)

If the 24p firmware upgrade comes out in time, we might just use the 5D MK II though. The flexibility of using 60p at 720p is nice, but I would far prefer full frame to get the 35mm look.
