Hey everyone!
I tend to do a lot of self portraiture and I'd love to hear some of your feedback on them!

um.... wow, very nice :)
are you using a timer/remote or got a friend helping you out with those? I'd like to see your hand in the 3rd one not be cut off, as well as your feet in the first.
Cool wings, btw

I think the last one is interesting...just enough light to make out the image and it has a nice mystery to it.
I prefer the face to be the focal point and I have to say that in the first two, your lovely "curves" are really the focal point...is that your intent? You've certainly nailed it if that was your aim.
I love the contrast of the bright red with the black in the third shot. Quite intense.

Thanks! Yeah I tend to accentuate my curves in photos...If you've got it flaunt it right? I do my own, so I use self timer. I do have a photo of the third one with my hand not cut off somewhere, lol I took a few in that dress.

Beautiful pictures. Interesting the last one. :)
Lovely expression in the second one.
P.S. in first and second you have a light-spot on the pillow behind. Why ?

I like the one on the red background... The hand position and finger arrangement is evocative.
You should try some with a darker (not too dark) green top... Maybe an emrald shade? That color seems to go well with red heads....

Nice shots, I like your expression on the second and also agree with MichaelE your body language in the one with the red background is great.

I echo some of the others - like the red background and the lighting and what can I say, I've always been a sucker for thigh-highs. ;)

What are you trying to express with the angel wings and halo? You seem more devilish than angelic. LOL
The direct flash is causing some problems with your eyes. It really stands out in the photo with the red background.
Since you have the (very, um, nice) physical attributes for a glamour shot, see what you can do to have your photo taken with the right camera/flash/background so that your poses can look less snapshot-ish and more WOW! 8-)

How old are you? and have you ever thought of modeling swim wear or underwear??

The red background one is my favourite, but it'd be even nicer with a darker red background. Where did you take that photo btw?

I agree, the red background is the best, but the harsh direct flash (plus hint of red eye) and the missing hand don't help any thing. Get near a big window and turn off that nasty flash!

Well, hopefully you didn't just post these here to, as you say, "flaunt it". There are plenty of places on the internet for that! Hopefully your here to improve your 'photography' like the rest of us and learn some valuable lessons from these great people!

Self-portraiture is a difficult, time-consuming trial-and-error process. Getting the camera to focus where you want is one of the many challenges. The advantage is you don't have to pay your model.:) You didn't say what camera you're using, but if it supports a wireless remote, you'll find that it saves a lot of time and allows the autofocus to work properly, since you're in the frame when the button is pressed. You can pick one up for around $30.
The background in the first two is similar to what you might find on "less reputable" web sites. The visible bra straps also detract. The extra efforts you put forth in #3 and #4 paid off with a vast improvement.
I really like #3! I think your next goal should be dealing with the red eye issue.
your lovely "curves" are really the focal point. Is that what they call them nowadays? Seriously, you are blessed as a photographer to have such a lovely model to shoot. The possiblities are endless, and I do hope you keep shooting and post a few here from time to time. It's always fun to watch the learning process.

the first two seem like they should be on a porn website where you get naked, don't mean to offend you, if i did , sorry. just my opinion. like the third, fourth a little dark.

I'm afraid that patch of light on the pillow was unavoidable at the time as it was coming through the blinds. Haha and no, those two images aren't meant to be for pornographic intent. The expression and the outfit are meant to contrast, with the angelic outfit and the devilish expression.
The red background image was photographed in my room! I have a very sexy room which I have red walls and a big four poster rort iron bed for photography usage.
The last image was deliberately dark to portray the "women who lurk in the shadows" or prostitues. Whichever. haaha. I did that photo as I was initially testing an outfit for a pimps and pros party and decided to take some photos to show the skulking attributes of prostitues.

Background is what takes away from the photos as well as lighting in them. Your first two feel too much like a snap shot, especially with the lighting and background setup.
The third has a good background that contrasts your figure well, but you cut off your hand. That's not a good thing. I think the lighting maybe should be shifted more to focus on your face. I see a little bit of a drop off at the top. Your hand seems to be getting most of the light source.
Your idea for the last one is interesting after I read the explanation. The picture frames take away from that concept though. They are too nice(which is a good thing for your place) for the photo in what you are trying to show. Your flash is capturing the wall a little too much. Maybe some bounce flash would do a nice trick.

while i enjoyed many things in your portraits, i have to say that the one with the red backdrop is my favorite. looks more studio, and the lighting is much better. too bad about the chopped hand though. would like to see it.

Great to see you having a go at a difficult task. Try different lighting, perhaps softer? It will show yor curves and give a romantic feel to you images. You have a great shape and look, just feel you need to work a little harder on the final shot. Perhaps some magazines or books will help you get the pose and look which you deserve.

I like the red background shot the best. Lighting is far from perfect though and don't chop off your hand next time.
