I don't really shoot people often... Hardly ever. But whenever the family gets together the camera seems to come out.

be careful with wide angle on people. tends to elongate people like the guys arms in 2 and make people seem a bit bigger like the womans' hands in the 5th photo. did you use your 220ex for this?

In these pics - I think the wide angle works well, gives it a comical feel - carving pumpkins is comic - i like these.

I started out using my 50mm, but I didn't like the way the pictures were coming out. That's why I switched to the wide angle, and I agree with you.
