Here is afew shots I snapped the other day ... the model is my son during a "time out" anyway lets hear your thoughts .... ps i'm a newby .. be gentle

Oh he looks so sad! Especially in that second shot... Geez the things we have to do as parents ey lol

I really like the 2nd one, but maybe a hint of fill flash to remove some of the shadows and to really let us see his sad eyes.

Yeah, I agree with Feihung08. The second one is great, but you could dodge/burn a bit in photoshop to even out the shadows/highlights on the face. If you could go back in time and change the weather, a bit more blue sky above would look nice with that vibrant green grass.

As a dad, I look forward to those kind of moments; the ones you can bring back to embarrass them later. When he's 16 and you show it to his girlfriend, the shadows won't matter a bit. :)
