I was asked to do this portrait for my Mother for her 75th birthday. It is all of her grandchildren. She loves it but I thought I would post it to see what other people thought. All C&C welcome.
Thanks
Mario
Storbist Info:
Two SB-28 in silver reflective umbrellas left and right of group. 1/2 power with sun behind and to the left. Triggered my Cybersyncs.

What was the reason for putting the person on the far left up against the wall and the rest out in the open?
Lighting is nice and even.
I might have had the guy on the far right put his hand on the shouder of the young girl in front of him to try and "close" the family group...if that makes sense.
All in all I like it.

The guy to the right is there out of necessity. The wall behind them was stepped so it worked with the kids. I did kinda like the urbaness of the wall behind him.
Keep them coming. Feedback is a great way to learn.

I too think that the picture would be framed better if the left side of the family wasn't against the wall, IMO it would balance the group better.
but other good shot!

I actually like the grouping. Sometimes symmetry is overrated. I'm sure your mother will be pleased. I'm curious what you mean by "umbrellas left and left of group".
