I will buy the canon 7D so I should be able to take videos with it, I hope the camera does the job for videos like these. For corvette fans, this video turend out great, by motortrend.

If you have the car, the jet fighters and pilots, a bunch of actors, the balls to stick your camera of the side of a plain, the creative skills to shoot it in the first place and a copy of final cut pro to edit it, I would say yes... but to be honest having the camera is the least of you worries when making a film like that!

If your professional production crew is up to snuff then why not. It's not the camera, it's the whole package that counts.

of course... what I meant is the camera being able to record with that clearness, no shadows like a normal camcorder does

? not quite sure i inderstand the no shadows bit because thats down to lighting...
If you want to see the clarity that can be achieved from a DSLR when producing a movie the head over to http://www.cinema5d.com and have a look at the shot on a 5D section (they have a shot on a 7D section too)... the full HD stuff on there is what i would call clear and in a different league to the film you have highlighted so the answer would have to be when used with quality lenses easily yes.
For clarity this one is unbelievable...

yes you can. for most part you will get better picture quality than that.
don't expect to pan fast on these DSLRs, thats all you gotta worry about.

You'd never be able to get a dSLR body in place to record the face on in-flight footage. Too big and too bulky. It's all shot with "Lipstick" cameras that are about as big as a Golf Pencil.
In the Vette? Sure... You'll need some substantial camera mounting hardware so the camera doesn't accelerate into someone's face though.
The rest of it comes down to steady camera work and/or solid camera mounts such as tripods and dollies.

Thanx for the replies
Yeoer that video quality is exactly what I need, I know is 5D but hopefully 7D is not far from it. Thanx ;)

Just like photography the camera is the least of the equation. Without a subject to shoot and a person that knows how to handle the camera it's hopeless. I've seen horrible footage come off of very expensive cameras, and I've personally shot some really cool looking stuff with really cheap consumer level video cameras.
