That's very pretty to the eye Martin :D

have you tried playing with it in photoshop?... maybe going for more dramatic colour in the sky?

Looks like a poster for an ancient warrior type movie.

Great great shot! I don't know any rules about this type of photo but I know I like the position of the primary subject. Thanks for sharing. :D

well to be honest i dont like to alter elements in the picture to much, i think you are meaning to alter the colours in an artistic way, do you ???, some do this but they can look false to me and spoil a picture, but we all see things different, anway, thanks for looking and your comment

good for you Martin... my better half says i likr to "sugar" my pics sometimes... but like you say it's all in the way we as individuals see things.
I think it's a cracking picture as it is, i was jsut wondering if you had thought about altering it :)

Well in someways the picture has been altered, not the composition apart from slight croping but because it was shot directly into the sun i had to underexpose as not to blow the highlights completly so extensive dodge and burn was used to bring back detail, so compared to the raw image which was dark and no detail in the shadows the pic has infact been edited in this way, thanks for your comment
