I like the. Even lighting, good color.
I am not wild about the pearls onthe baby itself.
Looks like your are trying to tie the baby up.
But the black and white it self is process beautifully.

I agree with Lunajen about the pearls. Otherwise great job! I love the backgrounds and the soft settings, and you even got her to open her eyes and look at you.

Thanks for the feedback. Okay, no more pearls. I liked them but the mom didn't much care for them when I was taking the picture either, glad I posted it for other comments anyway. Luckily I have more of that pose/bg without the pearls. ;)

Got her to look at me or couldn't get her to sleep ...?? lol :)

I also have a new respect for those newborn photographers that do the hands under the chin pose ... NOT as easy as it looks!!

Good job! I agree the hands under the chin is not easy, I find some babies don't like to be moved around a lot and some you can do almost anything. I recently had a free shoot I was supposed to do and could not get any shots because as soon as we laid the 7 day old down he would cry, we tried for 2 1/2 hours.

By the way #2 is my favorite also
