Took this shot today near Aberdeen NE Scotland.
I've only just moved onto DSLR and RAW shooting and still do some final tweaking in Photoshop.
I use Photoshops' USM but am not sure wether I am sharpening a little too aggressively. I know it is partly a taste thing and I find the 350d kit lens a little on the soft side.
Did I overdo it on this one?

Waaay over done if you ask me. But it's as you said, a personal preference thing.

The nice thing is that the original shot is fantastic! You can step back on USM and still have a fabulous image.

Nice pic but blue skies in Aberdeen? Surely not ;)
