o.k. everyone, I need to vent here for a second just to keep my sanity, and besides this situation is so ridiculous I actually see the humor in it, so maybe someone else can enjoy it as well! :D

Long story short I sold a G6 on Ebay recently. I sell there on occasion and up until now have had perfect feedback and buyers happy with my honest-to-a-fault descriptions and fast shipping. The G6 sale was no different. A week after the sale I recieve my first negative feedback and then LATER I recieve an email explaining why, because I required a signature which wasn't stated in the auction. I wasn't aware that it was required to state it and have never thought anything of it. If I had been contacted first I would have payed the shipping to re-send it without a sig required, but I wasn't.

Now the funny/ridiculous part, what he was mad about. Here is the actual email I received (I censored the curse word for the sake of the forum)

Email:You did not tell in your listing about SIGNATURE REQUIRED to get the package.I had to go to the post office to get this f*****g camera, because delivery guy could not leave it in the office (signature required!!).I work 6 days a week,so I just had to go to0 post office in my lunch time and I did not get back to work in time, and now I have problems with my manager.I just throwed this camera in the wall, because got really angry and it is completely broken.I just lost 200$ dollars and have troubles on my work because you did not noticed in your listing about signature which is required on delivery.
Thank you very much!!!!!!!!
People like this really exist? Wow.

On the bright side, at least I've got a really good story on how I got my only negative feedback.

I curbed my eBay sales significantly because of wackjobs like that. Anything over $250 requires a signature for PayPal anyway.

Yeah, I sent him a feedback revision request with a very polite letter trying to explain how the signature protects us both, but he declined it. Guess he's still steaming over it.

I'm really glad he lives half way across the country from me!

I have also pretty much stopped sellnig on eBay...between eBay's policies getting more and more ridiculous as well as idiot non-paying bidders, I pretty much had enough.
