Newbie here learning and looking for self improvement. I just wanted to post a pic for you all to critique and hopefully enjoy. I love the site and hope to learn as much as I can here. Well here goes the pic .......lemme know what you think.

It's a nice scene, maybe a little dark for my taste but others may disagree. Do you really want the rail in the foreground? I'm not sure it adds anything.

I wasnt really sure if it added anything either. I figured leave it pretty much the way I shot it and let me see what others say. Thanks for your reply .....Bailey

Nice scene and good composition, but I have to agree with it being just a tad on the dark side, and I would crop out the rail.

Yes I agree with the rail comments, somewhat distracting. The color seems muted because it is so dark. The composition is very nice, I like the sky as well........Joe

I saw one thread where people made there version of this pic and would like to see some examples here as well if you have the time.....thanks for all the comments so far .......Keep em coming.

By the way when I shot this it was about to rain so it was very overcast ... would under exposing this shot made it lighter ?

I also agree with the rail comments and would add that there is a lot of empty space in the foreground.

I like it this way also ....looks good.
