Would have prefered the person's face in focus and the water more out of focus. I'm drawn to her face more and I'm left wondering, because its out of focus.

i think its a good photo. the out of focus face adds perspective to the picture. the picture focuses on the world outside and what could have been if it wasn't raining...

I put my focus on the rain so the picture would have a story but I agree that if I took the face in focus this photo would've been another good shot of this position...which in this case I did but the bus was moving so there is not as pleasing of a backroung as in the first one...

i actually like the first one. the look on her face is more pure, and the background has a lot more detail. i feel like it's asking me to look where she's looking, therefore the out of focus face is accepatable, IMO.
