I went to Castle Combe last Monday for some club racing run by the BRSCC. A lovely day but not good for photography. I lost a lot of shots due to heat haze. :(

Once again Combe managed to get big crowds through the gates for what is not high profile event. Other circuits in the UK take note... you could all learn from Combe.

#1 Castle Combe Special GT Championship

#2 A TVR Tuscan in typical pose. Way too much power to be sensible

#3 Not quite so typical to see them on fire... but TVR electrics are notorious

#4 Minis always make a colourful shot

#5 Some older F3s from the BRSCC ARP F3 Championship

#7 Must have been a day for fires... the marshals at Bobbies were kept busy!

Hello John and thanks, welcome to the forum. You were the chap with a loose monopod and an EF 200mm f/1.8L if I remember rightly? Don't see too many of those around the circuits. Hope you managed to find the little Manfrotto tool.

I was the one waving the Mark II, Sigma 500mm prime and Sigma 120-300mm about. The other two are around here somewhere as well ;)

Glenn.

Good work! Love the gaggle of Minis!
I saw a blond driving one last week. The plate said, "REDMINI". A bit low on the creativity scale!:D:D:D

nice and sharp but a bit static, would like to see some with a slower shutter speed for a change
