We have recently swapped from using lightscribe disks to inkjet printed disks for our wedding photography clients so I thought I would share a few pics and at the same time a few pics of a budget album we have just added to our range.

Inkjet technology has really moved on in recent years and the quality you can get when using the right disks now is great so we invested in a new printer capable of doing this well.

Pics below are of a new wedding album that we have just added to our range that's printed and bound by Loxley Colour in Scotland. We normally supply Queensberry Wedding Albums (http://boundlessphotos.com/blog/2009/04/05/queensberry-albums/) which are stunning but these new ones are a lower cost alternative for midweek and smaller weddings.

very very nice! (sorry I had to do this! :))

I love the album, where did you get it printed? And the CD is beautifully done as well, very classy and chic at the same time, love the metal case!

I LOOOVE the printable inkjets CD's.... I went from Lightscribe to those about 7 months ago and wondered why I ever used the other in the first place..... it prints beautifully, and the clients always LOVE it.
What kind of printer? Mine's an Epson with the little CD tray.... so easy to use.
Congrats... these look beautiful! I like how you got your name on there with your logo... I haven't done that.... just always put their names and wedding date on there.
Oh, and WHERE did you get that classy CD case? I love it!

Both those look great! I'm still providing Lightscribe disks for all of the weddings and shoots that I do - mainly because I don't have a printer that will CD print, and my clients like the "laser etched" disks!

But the way that you have done the CD in the presentation case is simply superb!!!

Very nice presentation, to match your creative photography skills.

May I ask, where do you get your DVD case from? I print on discs too, but only have boring coloured thin cases I supply them in.

Cheers for the nice comments peeps!

Svetlana - Almus is printed and assembled at the pro lab we use in Scotland, Loxley Colour.

The metal CD cases are available in lots of places that sell CD's in bulk, these were from here > http://www.rivierapublishing.co.uk/acatalog/CD_Tins.html
