Hello,
Here's what I want to do: create a mask of an image (Using Channel Mixer + monochrome), and then apply a filter (Smart Sharpen) to the image according to what % black in the mask. I want to try this instead of selecting portions of my image and sharpening (either a section is or is not sharpened).
I know this is fairly simple stuff, but once I figure it out, I'm sure masks will be very useful to me.
Please don't blast me and say Google "Photoshop Masks Tutorial" like folk on FM did--I've googled up and down and no dice
