hi there,

i have recently been doing photography for a hobby (about 2 months). i really enjoy just going out for a walk with the camera and taking pictures. i like taking action shots of my mates riding bikes but also taking still life shots.

i have a Canon 1000D with the standard 18-55mm lense. i have also got 70-300mm tamron macro lense (borrowed from my dad) i am also using a canon 580 ex flash (also borrowed from dad).

the reason for this thread was to be able to post some of my best pictures up and for you the people of this forum to construvily creteak them and also to give me pointer on what shots i might like and so on.

Welcome to POTN!

This section is for Talk About Photography, & not for a general posting of images. Look for the "Share" sections (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=-1&f=6) for the correct place for your subjects.

i thought that this would be alright because i am talking about photography. it is just that i need images to show what i have done to be able to get help. but i will go to the other section.

Well, you said you wanted critique, which is more than just "Talk".

okay, that is fair. is there anyway of you moving it over there or do i need to make another thread in there?

You have subjects for nature, critique, & sports, so I wouldn't know where to move it. Best to start new threads in the appropriate sections.
I would suggest that you look at what has been already posted & see how your images compare with those first, & maybe do some reshooting before you post these? ;)
