the subject is very nice, but to me the colors are boring. I think you could really spice this up with some good pp

I agree with Justin and think with just a bit of editing you can really make those colors pop. Subject and composition are nice.

Gorgeous, and I like the silky water, but I agree some PPing would make it extraordinary!

The foliage will pop with a curves adjustment, but I'm not sure the sandbank in the lower third of the picture adds much if anything to the composition. I'd try cropping up to the log about 40% up from the bottom. If you select "Imaging Editing OK" in your profile we can post edits illustrating the C&C.
