The other night, I decided to go into the garage and experiment with light painting. I used a small LED flash light.

Here is the result. Let me know what you think.

Sick bike. You should take another picture with the camera in standard position so we can use it as a background!

You did an even job of lighting it. I'd like to see some defining highlights like the tiny one up-right of the headlight?

Yeah. The bike begs to live on the race track. It can't be fully appreciated on the street.

I'll keep experimenting with it. From the camera, shine a flashlight on the wall. When you see the highlight in the bike that you want, that's where you need to put some light.

Continued my lighting experiments over the weekend. The top image was painted with a florescent shop light. The bottom with a small flash light.

oh ok, try the rear sync, maybe the shadow problem would be fixed.
