Hi All,

I have been taking photos for a while now, not really done much work with people, i normally shoot motor sport and automotive stuff. I am branching out and trying to improve my shots in all styles.

Please could you give me your opinions on some studio shots i took tonight with a model. Well she isn't really a model per say, she has done a few bits with her mates but seemed happy enough under lights this evening.

I would prefer to see a bit more shadows on her face in each of the poses. The only shadow you are getting on any of the poses is the shadow on her throat.

3-Dimensionality will be improved if you create more distinct shadows diagonally across the face. In most cases the only thing you would have to do different would be to move the key light higher and more off to her left side.
