Has anyone encountered card problems when mixing RAW and JPEG files on the same card? I have not mixed these in the past, so this is not a case of having a problem, just wanting to avoid such.

No problems....I do it all the time.....in fact with some cameras (not the Drebel) you have the option of RAW + JPEG as a size setting.

If you put the undutchables hack on the drebel it will give you raw+jpeg in creative and basic.

With the hack, yes you do have that option. I never assume people have the hack unless they say so......

I always shoot Raw + Large JPG and have never had a problem. I use a Lexar 2gb 80x.

No problems on either my D60 (RAW or JPEG are the options) or my 20D (RAW, RAW+Large (sep. files) or Large JPEG) shifting back and forth between the modes. It's just another file on the card; why should it matter?

My 20 D is allways on RAW and large/fine JPG file and for 4 months now i don't had any problems. It works perfect.

No problem here, even shooting part RAW only, part RAW+ JPEG and part JPEG only.

The CF card doesn't care what file format is being written to it. I've transferred many diferent file formats between PCs using the CF card when my USB key drive was full. Of course your camera won't display anything but RAWs & .jpgs but you can store any file type you want.

Do you mean a separate file like the 350??
