ex tube and 85f1.8 ?

Would this be a good ider for doing macro shots as i have the lens and its very sharp, i would think it must get close to 1/1. or should i buy the 100 f2.8 macro .

First off, I don't think you need to get to 1:1. Most people are quite happy at 1/2 of that (or less.) Get the 12mm and 25mm extension tubes. Try them on your 85/1.8, will be quality. You might be done with just that. If not, add the 250D, 500D close-up lenses. You will use all of these anyway even if you eventually buy the 100/2.8 USM Macro, and they are cheaper to start with.
