Went to an aviary today, they had rapacious and they were having these guys flying all around. A great experience. I had the opportunity (in other words, I was lucky enough) to get the full sequence of one of the hawks that catched the food the trainer threw in the air, get it with the peck and the finally fly away.

Not perfect quality, albeit its definitely not too bad, but I'm so proud :D

And I was very lucky :D Must admit that the blazin' fast sequence capabilities of the 20D helped a lot. Actually I forgot to mention the tech data: ISO 400, f/7.1 1/3200. The lens was a 70-200 2.8 with a 2x TCon. The focal lenght was 215 mm.

What type of hawk was it?

I have no idea about its name in English. The technical name in Italian is "Falco Lanario" (actually Falco biarmicus feldeggii I think, If I got it correctly).

Thanks all for te comments.

I think that it was a frog's leg, not a worm :D
