I've had people send me well wishing notes for months so I thought I'd show you, Hale (pronouced Hal-EE) is as good as new. Her leg is growing properly and she's out of the woods now. This was her first trip to the dog park, and her first time off leash. She's almost 6.5 months old now.

they are all great pictures and you have an extremely nice looking pup. #6 is my favorite for the composition.

Oh those images -- and the joy in your "voice" -- are just wonderful. What a nice treat to open this message tonight.

That's awesome. Glad to see the pup is out and enjoying life.
We rescued a Black Lab that had been hit by a car, shattering it's hip. Whoever owned him never took him to a vet and let him heal with it the way it was. When we got him he had a pronounced limp and was in obvious pain from where the bones were grinding against each other.
Well, expensive surgery and a couple of months of therapy, he's now running and in no pain. Hard to tell that he ever had any troubles.
Dogs are resilient creatures.

Wonderful photos Lisa and she looks like she healed up nicely. I know things were touch and go there for a while and how frightening the whole thing was so I'm glad that there is a happy ending. :)

Makes me want to take my camera out to the dog park and take action shots :)
My old weenie dog still chases the ball in the house but he is slowing down at age 14.

You know, I started taking the camera out for fun, but the odd thing is that I started photographing other people's dogs and have slowly started getting orders for the photos. I take photos of the dogs and if I get a good one, I'll tell their owners next time I see them. Usually they want to see and ask for my card. I've made some pretty good sales from them. I never intended on being a dog photog  but catching them in action and happy is great.

Because of all the things that have happened with Kona & Hale and the connections we've made because of them, they (K & H) have a page on FB.

The other owners check in there to see if their dog appears on the newest slideshow. Most of them don't even belong to FB but they have the link and can check. It's pretty useful & everyone seems to enjoy it.

I have shot lot's of other people's dogs for fun but never thought about offering to sell them the photos. Hmmmmm..... good idea!!!
Now I am going out Trick of Treating with my grandsons this evening and taking my camera. Maybe I should shoot everyone I see and hand out a business card, LOL! AND I am leaving Skip to pass out candy at home. Maybe we ought to make it mandatory to have heir picture taken Before we add the candy and throw a business card in with the goodies.;)
It is a bad idea to get my brain spinning on a sleepless night :D(Had the 6 month old overnight.... he has a cold and coughed all night). I get manic.

Someone here in town set up a neighborhood photo booth. IF I'd been thinking, I'd have done that. It's such a smart idea...next year!
