Really fantastic. The contrast between the bright grass in front and the storm is nice.

Great capture looks like that was going to be some downpour. Looks like a giant wave rolling in, well spotted.

Thanks for all the comments - I spotted the scene whilst out dog walking and hurried back home to grab the camera. BTW I didn't get wet as I was able to take this shot almost on my doorstep.
Cheers

David, you were right to hurry back for the camera.
As has been mentioned the contrast and variance between the sky and foreground is excellent, the composition also.
Great shot.

Nice shot, David. I agree with Cameron about the contrast.

I love storm pictures and this one is great. I especially like the contrast caused by the lighter grass/wheat/?? in the middle of th eimage.

Thanks again for all your comments.
The crop in the field in front of the group of trees is Oil Seed Rape which has a yellow flower. The last of the sun's rays were still on that field and help with the contrast of the whole image.
One thing I can say: It's proved a difficult image to print as the dark areas of the sky kept coming out dark blue instead of dark grey. However, I succeded in the end!:D
Thanks
David

It looks like you got the shot at just the right moment. Scenes like this can change very quickly. Great job!
