Help with post processing, pls!

I am currently learning PS CS4, and i'd love some help making this shot of my son pop more. Any suggestions/instructions would be much appreciated. Thanks!!( I know it's just a snapshot but i'd still love some suggestions, thanks!)

I think it could do with being brightened up a bit, maybe a bit of warmth added, and you can make it pop using an 'S' curve in curves. Part of the way I learned PS was by using actions and dismantling them to see how they worked. You can get some free ones you might like here:
