I can't tell if it is from a professional camcorder setup or a dslr. the huge dof control sways me to think that this was done by a 5dmkII and a sweet array of prime lenses + outdoor portable lighting setups. the punchy colors also hint at it as well.

came out great though.

hmm hard to say... Sometimes it's easiest to tell how smoothly the action shots look, the way in which DSLRs shoot it looks slightly different as opposed to professional camcorders. In this case, I say it would be a professional camcorder since it is a music video to what appears to be a big Korean pop-star...

Just my 2 cents.

You do know that there are other alternatives to shoot video than the 5D MK II? This could have been shot with a RED, Grass Valley Viper, Sony F23 or whatever. The smaller chip cameras can be used with a 35mm adapter that "replaces" the DOF of the chip. For example our school has this one: http://pstechnik.de/en/digitalfilm-mini35-converter.php and we shot this with it and a Panasonic HVX200 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4GvBOvg8H9U
