I've shot B&D a couple of previous times. Always a good show and great songs. This performance seemed a bit lethargic ... I found out later that they both had really bad colds. Also, I was standing backstage on my way out when they finished their initial set and came off before the encore and literally had to back up against the wall so they had room to walk out (I didn't know this would happen) and they looked really, really beat ... amazing they perform so well when on the verge of death!

#2 I didn't get a good shot of the confetti shoot ... I was in the wrong place with the wrong lens, but I did get this one of their compressed air driver.

#3 Ronnie ... he happened to walk over where I was shooting and got too close to me before I could adjust:

#4 They didn't seem to interact with each other ... this was about as close as they got all night.

This is such a good set, I'm surprised to be the first to post to it...

Great shooting Dwight... These guys are on top of the country music charts, nearly all the time... I hear they are splitting the scene after so many yrs. Is that still true?

I think people are tired of me and all my non-metal/rock postings! LOL.

i always click on your threads as soon as I see them, no matter how much I dislike the performer(s). your work is always that of a true pro and I think people may just be sick of you nailing it all the time. ;)

Yeah, they're not gonna tour together anymore. 20+ years on the road has got to be tiring.

Yup, I can see where it could get boring particularly if you aren't into the particular performers ... most of my concerts aren't the most energetic or dramatic even if the headliners are very well known. My audiences generally average at least 50 years old which is much older than most concert shooters here! I guess it's just as well that I am paid pretty well so that I don't get bored and fall asleep with a camera in each hand. LOL. It's also true that few of the rest of the concert shooters get to shoot these stars since you've got to be a Pro just to get credentials.

Many, many other groups have toured lots and lots of times after "breaking up!" They may be tired of each other but some publicist will "explain" why they decided to tour again! :-)

#6 is nice & 7 is a nice moment. Pity about the guy walking past.

They look worn. You've shot them better (more flattering) in the past.
