Need some help with useing photoshop!

I was out taking some pictures of my sister today, and i really liked the one I included here, but first of, I think the shadow in her face is a bit to much? and I don't know how to make it better. My second issue is how to ngle t differently, as you cn see, the fence is weird looking.... please help!

If you notice anything else I should change, please share your opinion!

If you have PhotoShop CS or CS2, you can use the "shadow/highlight" command to fix it right up. This took me less than a minute to do:

You could also use curves for even more control. I wouldn't worry too much about the fence in the background, it really doesn't matter. Nice photo of a cute little girl!
