I love these shots. The first one is rich and varied in texture, and renders well in B/W. The second is very dramatic, the path seemingly leading to turmoil. Was a polarizer used with this?

No i tend not to use filters, i use the exposure to create a dramatic effect, only filter i use somtimes is a grad grey, thanks for looking

The image on the right is very evocative, the very bare trees, the clouds, the trail leading to somewhere - probably dangerous...

Very nice image Martin.

Thanks, I live near Bronte Country and if i had to give the second picture a name i would call it Wuthering Heights from the book of that name

I always look for your B&W photos. And these are excellent as usual.

Water is water and I like the composition but the second shot is utterly fantastic, well done.

The second picture really comes to life in B&W.

I'm not sure the first shot is most effective in B&W, im sure the vibrant colours of the scene would be beautiful and much more emotive.

IMHO. :D

Stunning shots! Number two is so moody and sinister!
