I want a battery grip for my canon 5d mark II but I hate spending 250. There is a vivitar battery grip for 5d markII, do you think it will work as good? Does anyone use a vivitar?:)

Ihave never heard of the Vivitar grip. Vivitar makes some pretty good quality flashes, so im sure its not any worse than any other 3rd party grip.

I've also been thinking of purchasing the Vivitar grip. If anyone buys one I'd love to hear a review on it. B&H have them for special order. Thanks in advance!

Is the Vivitar Battery Grip made out of Magnesium Aluminum? Does it have the "on and off" switch on the side? Does it have weather sealing? You get what you pay for I think IMO.
