The bird release is my fav too.
On a side note...
Were you the offical photographer at Geraint Jones's wedding? cool...
A couple of things about your website, I think you need to sort your home page out... i'm really not sure what message it is sending out, it kind of looks unfinished, i know with my own site i'm forever changing bits and never 100% happy with it... but the home page is one of the most important things to get right, first impressions are everthing.

Mike,
I love the work, and of course knowing how hard it is to get a good dove shot without a wing being in a bride's face or turned the wrong way, I can really appreciate this nice image. My only issue is the second image. If you are using this just an incidental shot then I like it, however, as a bridal portrait, then I think she is competing too much with the horses and the carriage. The only way to make this work would be to bring the horses into the image by having the bride interact with the horses as in to touch the horse or something like that. Really like all the others. Good work.

Thanks. That shot took a little sorting out as the B&G had their eyes shut in every shot that the birds were in...this shot was just after the birds had flown out of the frame but the B&G were looking finally! I had to cut and paste the doves from a previous frame into this one which was a little tricky round the blurred wing tips but I'm more than happy with the end result. :)
The bird release is my fav too.

Thanks, I was just visiting (papping) at Geraint Jones' wedding - it was in my village so I turned up for a look - they thought I was from the paper at first so were a little hostile but the vicar knew me from my own wedding earlier that year so he told them and they were much friendlier after that. Mrs Jones even got in touch with me a few weeks later and asked if she could have some of the pictures I took which was nice.
I agree about my website, it is a little confusing. It is still my old look from before I started shooting weddings. What I should do is have the first page as a portal to the wedding and non wedding websites I guess. My wedding site is on a sub-domain and I should push that more I think. http://weddings.mikegreenphotography.co.uk/

Now I have looked again at the dove shot, I can see a big error in my processing over the top dove's wing...b*gger!

number 2... she looks way over saturated.
The dove shot. Great capture. What is the error in processing you mentioned? I don't see anything.

Hmm...the saturation looks fine on all the screens I've seen it on.
It could be compression artefacts but on the top dove, above the head and wing line it looks like I haven't quite erased out all of the background in that layer. I'll know for sure when I can get home and look at the PSD version.

For your B&W photos, make your watermark also in B&W cause the green really sticks out in those.

My favorite is the bride in front of the carriage. Nice series.
Thanks for sharing.
