This is my first time for using the flash gun in anger, well properly

Can anyone tell me if anything is wrong with the composition, apart from the moment of capture

mic stand in her face is rather distracting. maybe could have bumped the fec up 1/3rd

I know about the mic stand, it was just an unfortunate at the time

Fec as in the exposure do you mean?
