These were taken in Alaska and British Columbia last year. The moose were in the wild, quite a distance from the road. Lens was equivalent to 380mm on a full frame camera. While we saw many moose, they disappear quickly into the woods, making it tough to get a shot. Because of the distance, these stayed in place.

Nice shots, Stan. We have these in North Park and I agree it's hard to get a good "pose" on one. I've heard of people going into the willows to follow, but I think the last thing you would want is a case of "Mad Moose" syndrome.

Good shots Sparker! I remember seeing dozens of Moose in Ontario when I went canoing there back in the 70s. Never even thought of photographing them. Didn't even own a camera...

Magnificent work Stan. We've been to Alaska three times so far. It is my favorite vacation land. Thanks for sharing.
