I think I might have to do this again and upload to Vimeo. The U-Tube rendering turned a lovely video to pot!:mad2:
Anyway, as I spent hours putting this together last night, I may as well post it.

Cool stuff lad. Must be hard on the shutter all these frames considering that a shutter has a lifespan of what? 25k to 50k frames?
Tempted to book a flight for Sidney!

G'day Baz, excellent work! Every time you post one of these it's becoming more and more professional/polished. Loving it.

David, it really is a lot of fun. I like doing it because I'm always surprised by things that I caught that I missed in real life, such as thin clouds wisping by, or planes even. And just the awe of watching the stars move overhead in a way you can visualize is amazing. It's a lot of work, but the end results are always worth it! Baz, you are getting really awesome with this!

Hey thanks so much everyone!
Believe it or not, some of the stills in this video were taken with my phone camera!
The main Canon lens has served me well, but I think I have pushed it as far as it will go and will have to put the pennies aside for a faster one.

Magnificent as always!
I have always enjoyed the music you have set your clips to, especially the one from Bushlapse.
If you are looking for a new lens you can try some of the less expensive primes. The nifty fifty is well within most peoples reach and I have used it to good effect on the stars.

Maybe a write-up similar to the one you done for Deep Sky Stacker is in order?
