Hi guys,have jusy bought Sx110is & leaving next week for holiday overseas what would be best settings for first time camera user

Now probably isn't the greatest time to experiment. The auto settings are decent.

Actually...it works pretty good on auto...I picked one up to use as a pocket cam...I have to say that I was pretty impressed with the performance of the built in settings.
