Well, this is the first day I've had to publish on my website in a while and I have managed to get my Steve Winwood images up as well as Chaka Khan, so here are some of those images.

Simon, thank you, again. I'm actually surprised more folks haven't looked at these and the Chaka Khan images here, but I know they are big. I use these for wallpaper at work (my day job), but at home it's all pictures of my daughter for wallpaper! :-)

Thank you, Leo, I do what I can. I have Tony Benett and Charlie Daniel's Band coming later this month.

Very nice shots. I am amazed at what can be done with available light. And of course talent. Thanks for these and the Chaka posts. All are terrific.

Maybe I'm weird but I really like the instrument shot.

Titus, I hope you're not weird ... if I didn't like it I wouldn't have put it up! :-)

Outstanding shots! I was really into his music a while back. I think I'll pop one of his CDs into the player.

Tim, thank you ... not a lot of energy by him in his show, but the guitar and woodwind guys are potent. One of the nice things about my images is that I consider the payment by the casino adequate compensation so I don't feel the need to plaster COPYRIGHT and my name across them all ... I'm perfectly happy to have folks download for personal use ... I currently have a Chaka Khan for my wallpaper ... although if someone sells them I do want a cut of the action! :-)

.

how'd you get that halo effect Dwight?

By being ever watchful and ready! Oh, you mean, "What is it?" ... I think it is a reflection from something between me and Steve ... could even be flare although my stuff is all pretty unflarable, but it is clearly in front of the microphone. There are so many lights at the casino, along with smoke and other paraphenalia that it is hard to know.

Dwight, great shots! I'll be "weird" also and say I'm fond of the gig stand shot (the flute, tenor sax, & soprano sax).

Thanks, Wil ... but as I say I like it so it can't be very weird! :-)

Five years ago I think I was shooting with a 1D Mark II or 1D Mark IIN and 70-200mm f/2.8L IS, but can't guarantee it.
