Even with a nice paint job...that baby is kind of homely. Nice to see a VIA post. Keep the Canadian hardware coming!

I took the VIA Rail from Vancouver to Jasper back in '87 - awesome ride through the Rockies!

That's OK. EMD uses the F designation for their passenger locomotives (F40, F59, etc.). GE uses the P prefix for passenger engines (P32, P40, P42). Here's an F40PH (Caltrain at Millbrae, CA).
