Got the chance to get into the pit for Our Lady Peace last Thursday (the 29th). Feelin a bit down about this one - I got used to the house lighting, then OLP came in and used all their own stuff which, suffice to say, wasn't ideal. This bummed me out, as I'm a big OLP fan, and think this might have been the worst set of the night (for my photos).

Tried some new PP stuff, and did what I could with the lighting. C&C appreciated. Enjoy.

#3 is great! The smoke seems to outline him, and I like the colors.

8: with a small cut on the bottom and a little cut on the left
if you print the 8 you could obtain the same effect "amarcord" with the difference that was taken with a DSLR and not a SLR.
4: despite the noise and the white balance

I agree with Cliff, again!

looks like you did great with the conditions you were given. and I agree with 3 being the best of the bunch.

Could you explain that a bit more, I'm not sure what you mean (in regards to the "amarcord" effect).

WB looks a bit funky, but it was how it really looked in there. Bright yellow light behind, and a pretty good mix of white and red lighting on the other side. I'm not too concerned about the noise, as it was dark, and 1600 was pushing it at times (literally, as this was a bit under at the time of exposure! lol)

Thanks for the replies everyone! It just goes to remind me not to give up on some images; some of my favorites weren't as well received, and some of the ones I questioned were liked better than I thought they'd be. :)
