For once, the weather forecasters got it right, and the torrential rain and gales forecasted for the UK on 1 November arrived as predicted. That made photography just a little bit challenging to say the least. Anyway, here's a couple of shots from the day: -
#1 Tony Bardy in the 600 bhp+ Vauxhall Astra Division 1 Supercar (taken at 1/320s, f3.5 and ISO 1600)

#2 As the rain got heavier, the light got worse pushing me up to ISO2000 to get 1/320s and f3.2

#3 The rain came through in pulses - here it's died down a little bit.

#4 In the afternoon, the sun actually came out. Unfortunately, with the sun came the worst of the wind, with gusts well over 35 mph. Standing up was difficult enough, never mind keeping a telephoto trained on a target and panning smoothly with it!

There's not much in the way of different angles here, but that was purely because of the wind and rain direction. For those that are interested, there's a full gallery on my website: -

All of these were taken with a Canon 7D and a Sigma 120-300 f2.8
As usual, any comments or feedback are most welcome.
Cheers,
Simon.
