Went to purchase wireless headphones but .....

but came out with a 37" LCD TV plus a new Denon Home theatre & DVD player :p Then realized that reclining couch is must to enjoy this new system so got a new couch ;). Both me & my wife are movie & music junkies so its a very worth investment & got passed without much thoughts :-)

Its coming in tomorrow, cant wait :mrgreen:

Guess my first L has to wait a little bit more & so is true for wireless headphones for a while :-(

Oh yes, within today I have to find someone whom I can pass over my current TV & receiver (its a home theatre too but dosent loads THX) & couch ;)

Congrats, and remember: now that you are in the 5.1 (or 7.1, whatever) family... a wireless headset becomes useless... you can go straight for the new L :D

Sigh, I wish I had the cash to walk into a store and come out with tons more than planned.
Hm, my mom does that though in grocery stores. She'll go "I just want to get five things..." and come back with 10-15. :)

CyberPet, I don't even own a credit card! Just a regular debit card. :p And that one doesn't go to my saving's account, only my spending one. Just another precausion that I won't use the card on buying a 20D, L lenses, new stereo, new computer, jewellery and round the world trip. LOL

Well, at least did go into the local photo store last April to "just look and feel" the 300D. My folks were kinda surprised when I got home with it. (Hey, I had a bad day. When I'm in a crap mood I spend money!)

My last "big" purchase was plane tickets to Gotland. Going there in two days. My friend Susanna and I are going to spend the weekend on Stora Karlsö (island with lots of birds). We're both bringing all our photo gear. :D

cfc, I dont think there is big difference in Denon costs between US & Japan, just a little expensive here. Depending on what you want to get, they rage from $400 (receiver only) to $6000. THX one's are above $3000. Speakers & all you can customize, so cost varies :-)

Claire, don't get married!!! Husbands can be very protective of your savings accounts. When I told hubby that I plan on having at least another body next year, he just looked at me and said "I sure hope you will do more books and articles, cuz I'm not letting you touch the savings account".

Or wish for stuff for Xmas and birthday...hehe I got my telezoom from my parents for my birthday and a 1Gb card from an American friend. For now I won't buy more camera gear though as I'm a bit skint after the US trip. I'm dying to visit my friend in Ireland though. Grrr...

You should see my 5 yr-old 25" Samsung. The definition has gone so bad until i cannot read the NBA score during the game, let alone the face of the player who just scores. I have now learned how to "listen" to a game. :D

ha ha ha, you wanna say you learnt to use TV as radio :-)) well mine was not as bad. I am giving it to a juniour collegue of mine who seems to be happy with it... :-)
