Sometimes it doesn't matter what equipment or photographic knowledge you have, you just get a great shot.
My wife took this with her Canon A70 in Auto mode. I B&Wed it and gaussion blurred the background, but other than that it is pretty much straight from the camera, no cropping or anything.
It is my wife's best friend and her daughter.

That IS a fantastic shot! But that's typical, isn't it? We'll spend a fortune on our DSLR while the wife picks up any ol' A70 in Auto mode and takes a perfect photo like this one. :cry:
