Help with DPP and mac oxs 10.5.8

My DPP used to to work with 10.5.8, but had to format drive, now all I get is X's instead of images,does any know why?

I have exactly the same problem. I am running 10.5.8 and have had a problem from the beginning. I can download my photos, view them on ImageBrowser without any problems, but on DPP both RAW and JPEG files are Xs instead of images. I have updated DPP and it is still the same. The thumbnails with an X are correctly labeled below and if I click on shooing information it is all there. Everything but the images themselves. I have talked with Canon and they cannot find the problem

Along with the OP I wonder why.

I have now updated my Mac operating system to Snow Leopard OS X 10.6.2, and DPP is working, although I can still not access Preferences. Other than that I seem to have all of the DPP functions.
