Just letting everyone know if they don't already. B&H has shipped their Winter 2010 catalogs. I received mine today, woohoo, what can I buy.

I got mine last weekend. I've never seen their printed catalog before, so it was a bit of a kid-in-a-candy-store moment to leaf through it.

I will be keeping it for future gear lust moments. ;)

Same here, Received mine last weekend as well. Had ordered from them for the first time earlier in the year, and did not realize they put out a catalog. It was quite the pleasant surprise when I opened my mailbox.

It's a nice catalog but I hate all of the call or log on to see the price things. I know I'm not going to buy a pro video camera but I'm still curious how much they cost(just not curious enough to log on).

I've been getting these since I bought some lightstands from them a couple of years ago. I learned alot just reading it, such as lens lineups and equipment existence :)
I was like "I didn't know they made something like that!"

In the printed catalog, for example, one can see a concise list of Canon lenses with prices behind it. There isn't an equivalent view on the web site without a bunch of scrolling and advancing to additional pages.

Plus, on the web site, I'm not suddenly going to look at professional sound boards and photojournalist a/v editing consoles. :p

So, we flip away just for fun.

We hate this too, but when manufacturer's MAP restrictions force our hand, we have no option. The other issue is this is a quarterly catalogue and in many cases prices fluctuate.

I'm also guilty of looking at the competition's offerings, Nikon, Sony, etc. in the catalog, but I never do this on the web site, hahaha. :shock::D

Actually, he had one of those Crayola markers that will only mark on special paper. I told my wife that he said I could get the 400 2.8 for Christmas. She didn't buy that.

Just make another B&H account, and order something from it :p

LOL my 2-1/2 year old was looking through it too (not on the potty tho). Made me proud and wanna get him his own camera but ummm... he's 2-1/2, that thing wouldn't last a day.
