I head to the Tea Party today, and took a few shots to test my new Rebel XT and the 4L,so far they have been great. I am amzed at the details compare to my old Canon G2...So happy now...:D
A little cloudy though and it was pretty late
Still new to DSLR,and have a lot to learn,so please advise. All pics are cropped and resized without any postprocessing

Some nice images - perhaps on #2 & #5 a little bit of fill-flash might have added a hint of catch-light to their eyes. Other than that some nice DOF on all the images.
Were you shooting RAW or JPG? What were your settings for the images?
Cheers
