This was using the Orange filter, I toned it down a little in PS but like the dremy state of it.

The first shot sure wasn't what I expected, but it's a great shot showing kids having fun. ;) :D
That IS a neat effect on the second shot, creating as you said, a Dreamy state, or you might even call it "Surrealistic". Very creative. :D
