well, to be fair the old lady started beating up on those girls first so all they were doing is defending themselves.

I fail to see where it's proven that these two girls were the aggressors here. I mean, the old lady starts the entire thing and then she is the one who fails to let it go, reigniting it several times. She is the one who starts getting physical. (granted I don't speak or understand the language they are speaking in, so I don't know anything other than what I see)

Lastly, I think it's funny. Sorry. No one got killed, etc.. it's a conflict and these two girls got their asses handed to them from some senior citizens. That's funny.

Look, I'm not advocating anything, but it is funny in spots. If I have to explain why to you, then I guess you don't get it.

To equate this to what is wrong with young people or that the world is going down the tubes, etc.. give me a break, would ya? People have been fighting since day one. It's built into our genetic code, same as being carnivores.

With ClickToFlash, the internet is a *much* more tolerable place. Especially with the Adobe suckage that is OS X Flash.

kinda hard to understand what the whole issue was with the constant cursing and whatnot but it does seem as if the younger girls repeatedly asked the older folks to go away and leave em alone, without much effect, cant be 100% sure though, not the best audio recordage

According to what you see in the video, that is what happened. Nobody saw what happened before the video was turned on, so you really can't say who started it with 100% accuracy.

I'm just curious what started this? Did the younger lady take a picture of the older couple and they didn't like that?

My wife is Russian and she attempted to translate this too me.

She stated that the altercation had already started prior to the video beginning. She believes both young women were either drunk or on drugs and the old lady confronted them about it and stated "We are going to call the police" where the two young ladies stated "go ahead". Then the old folks look at the camera and asked if they were capturing all this. And for some unknown reason the old lady comes back and then pushes her. The fight then begins, both parties are asking to call the police.

It's merely part of the truth.
What happened before the video was started?
Who are these people, where are they from, and what is that place to them?
What are they saying?

The girl escalated the level of violence and used an inappropriate level of force when she could have simply walked away, run even.
Age is not as forgiving as youth.

I ve posted my opinion here before buy hey. lol. I don't know what happened before the vid so I can only judge by what I see. What I see is an elderly lady picking up a fight and throwing the first punch (I mean PUNCH, it was not a slap) at those girls. The whole elderly vs youth debate is very interesting and has its point but it is still pointless. When someone punches you in the face, you have the right to defend yourself. Doesn't matter what age group you belong to. You simply can't be walking on the street punching others, its just inhumane. Again, it might have been the girls that started it off but we'll never know. We can judge by what we see. You just can't be punching other people, it doesn't work like that. Its not the medieval times all over again.

Apparently they did... it's a legal matter now. Can't speak for the laws there, but had been here, the "kids" would be facing felony charges.
