I am so frustrated right now guys!
This is a newb question ok? I recently began to shoot RAW and cant get the damm files on my computer! I have the digital professional and eos viewer utility that came with the camera along with photoshop elements 2.0.
I also have photoshop CS. The only program I can just SEE the RAW pics inthe EOS viewer utility.Thats it!
I tried the RAW and DNG updater to CS and they dont even have it for elements 2.0.
The friggin digital professional doesnt see ANYTHING.
I shoulda shot in JPEG because I dont even know how to upload the pics in my PC.
Now Im stuck with a full 2 gig card and cant shoot anymore until I upload these.
I just started to shoot raw and I guess I dont even know the RAW basics of the format. However I the think the darn software that came with the camera should be a little bit more straightfoward.
I can view them at EOS viewer utility and now I do what with them???
GRRRRR....Please help guys!

If you're using a Rebel XT your RAWs won't open in CS. CS2 will open them as will some other programs, but not CS.

You should be able to view you raw files in Adobe CS for sure. If you are using a newer camera you might need to go to the Adobe web site and download the latest version of the raw converter for the version of CS that you are running. Support for newer cameras are always been updated by adobe for their converter. Make sure you are installing the correct update however , I think version 3.0 of the converter only works with CS ver2.0. If you have the latest converter use the browser in Photoshp CS to browse for your files, you should see the thumbnails in the browser window. Double clicking the file you would like to convert will launch the raw converter.
